Minginish is proud of the wonderfully talented people who live here. In Summer there is a *Made In Minginish* event each week at the Community Hall (five minutes walk from the Taigh Ailean Hotel). Here you can buy amazing knitwear sourced locally from sheep to jumper, Harris tweed loveliness and natural beauty products as well as delicious homemade cakes.
Loch Harport Gallery, only two minutes walk from the Taigh Ailean, where local artist Jean Thomas exhibits a wide range of etchings, prints and watercolours, including subjects inspired by the Cuillin mountains, the varied and spectacular landscapes of Skye and the local flora and fauna.
The Wee Tea Rooms and Photographic Gallery.
Fantastic homebaking and purist photography make the Wee Tea Rooms on the way to Eynort well worth a visit.

On The Croft – is Sally Argrave’s wonderful local craft shop just down the road in Fernilea. Sally spins wool from her own Jacob sheep and stocks her own work as well as that of an amazing variety of local artists, weavers and knitters. Definitely put this on your *to do list*.
